Hi Everyone Melissa here and today I am sharing with you a cute coffee themed shaker card as part of Lawnscaping’s June Blog Hop! Make sure to leave comments on all of the blog posts along the way there will be lots of prizes given away to random commenters! More information about this blog hop can be found at the end of this blog post.
For this card I used Lawn Fawn’s Love You a Latte and Gnome Place like Home stamp sets. I love the little gnome from this stamp set and I thought it would just be too cute to have him holding the mug of coffee. I colored the gnome and coffee cup using copic markers and embossed the greeting onto the shaker plastic.
As you can see here the background of the shaker is stamped with little hearts and coffee beans. Then it is filled with red sequins from the Pretty Pink Posh sweetheart sequin mix and small red heart confetti. I love the way it turned out and I hope you do too! Next stop on the hop is Vicki.
Lots of prizes will be up for grabs from the various sponsors of the blog hop. Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. (Comments must be left by 11:59PM EST, June 28th.) Winners will be announced on the Lawnscaping Blog later that week. Good luck!
Thanks again to all of the sponsors of the blog hop for the fabulous prizes!
I have been meaning to use these small silly eyes from Pretty Pink Posh for ages and this seemed like the perfect time. I think they really add something extra to the cute little fish. I made the background by masking off some stripes and adding distress ink with water. I wanted kind of a messy underwater look. I think it turned out pretty well! I will be entering this card into the Lawnscaping Stars and Stripes Challenge. I hope you like it. :)
I can’t stop using these little critters from Lawn Fawn’s new Party Animals set, they are so cuuuute! Today I decided to combine them with the Love You S’more set to have the little bear and fox roasting some marshmellows around the campfire. I will be entering this card into the Lawnscaping Stars and Stripes Challenge. I hope you like it. :)
Update: I just found I am a Top Mow it All for this card in the lawnscaping Stars and Stripes! I’m so happy, thanks to the Lawnscaping team for choosing me!
I made this card for the Lawnscaping Stars and Stripes Challenge. I decided to keep this card pretty clean and simple – not easy for me! I added the stars using a stencil and some silver modeling cream from Viva Decor. I couldn’t resist adding a little critter as well, this bear has to be one of my faves! I will also be entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I hope you like it. :)
When I saw this stamp set from My Favorite Things I knew I had to get it. Look at those penguins, they are soooo cute! I made a simple scene with the penguins and colored the background with distress inks in a colorful ombre. I will be entering this card into the Virginia’s View June Challenge. Hope you like it!
This card features some more new stamp sets I got from Lawn Fawn, Fintastic Friends and So jelly. I hardly ever make ocean scenes so this was super fun. I will be entering this card into the Lawnscaping Calling All Critters Challenge. I hope you like it!
Update: I just found I won Queen of the Green for this card in the lawnscaping Calling all Critters challenge! I’m so happy, thanks to the Lawnscaping team for choosing me!
This stamp set only just arrived along with a bunch of other goodies from Lawn Fawn’s Summer release….yaaay. I love it so much, the bear is too cute! I wanted to do something fairly simple to make the critters the focal point. I tried out doing ombre stripes on the background and I think it worked out quite well! I will be entering this card into the Virginia’s View June Challenge. Let me know what you think! :)
