I made this card for the Lawnscaping One Layer Card Challenge. I love making one layer cards, sometimes they can be tricky but overall I love the way they turn out. This card required A LOT of masking. First I stamped the sentiment at the bottom and then continued on with the critter and the sleds. I then masked off the bottom half of the card by die cutting the forest border die from lawn fawn and adhering it to the card. This gives the effect that the trees and the ground in front are covered in snow. I then heat embossed the stars and snowflakes onto the top half of the card and added distress ink to make the sky color. I then stuck it onto a piece of patterned paper for the border. I hope you like it!
Hi Everyone Melissa here hopefully you arrived here via Kay Millers blog. Today I am sharing with you a Christmas card to celebrate the opening of an awesome new stamp company Sunny Studio Stamps! More information about this blog hop can be found at the end of this blog post, Including special opening deals and giveaways!
I fell in love with the critters from Sunny Studios as soon as I saw them. It is hard to find cute cat stamps so these were just purrfect! The two sets I used for this card are the Furever Friends and Santas Helpers sets. I wanted to let the stamps shine so I simply masked off four squares on the front, stamped the critters and colored them with copic markers. I then stuck it down to a piece of glitter cardstock and added the sentiment. I looove these stamps and I hope you do too! Next stop on the hop is Laura Bassen
Up for grabs are stamp sets to three lucky winners, also a free digital stamp download on the Sunny Studio blog and free shipping for all orders over $35 in the Sunny Studio Online Store.
