I have had this Alpine Carolers set from Mama Elephant since last Christmas and I never got around to using it. I think it is so cute though. For this card I paired it with the tree from Lawn Fawns Trim The Tree stamp set and I think it looks really cute! I will be entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
I think the Birthday Smiles set is so versatile and fun, I especially love the balloons and the ice-cream (I will have to be sure to use that in a future card!). To create this card I first marked out a rectangle on a piece of card, this would be the area for my scene. I die cut a piece of masking paper and laid it where I wanted the snowy hill to be. I then stamped the little hearts and dots from the Birthday Smiles set onto the background with versamark ink also adding some smaller dots with the versamarker. I added white embossing powder and heat embossed those onto the background. After I had done that I added the inky sky. I did this by blending Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and a Black Soot Distress Inks.
I then stamped the balloon and the little penguin from Snow Kissed onto some white card, colored them with copic markers and fussy cut them. I stuck the balloon and the penguin onto the card and added a string to have the penguin holding the balloon. I stuck the background panel onto a card with some patterned paper and then laid over top a piece of card with a rectangle die cut out of the middle. I like creating scenes this way because I think it adds some dimension to the card. To finish it off I cut a strip of white card and die cut both ends using one of the Fishtail Banner dies. I then added the sentiment in silver embossing power.
That finishes up the card for today. I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to hop over to the Sunny Studios blog for more inspiration in the coming week!
I made this card for the Lawnscaping Too Cute to Spook Challenge. I wanted to keep it simple and have the critters be the main focus. I combined several stamp sets to make this card, and it required a lot of masking! To make the card I laid out the stamps where I wanted them and Stamped all the images in the foreground first before masking them off with masking paper and then stamping the images in the background. I then mounted it onto a piece of black card. I love the way it turned out and I hope you do too! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Update: I just found out I have won Top Mow it All for this card in the lawnscaping Too Cute To Spook Challenge! I’m so happy, thanks to the Lawnscaping team for choosing me!
I made this card for the Lawnscaping Too Cute to Spook Challenge. For this card I wanted to try something new and have the sentiment be the main focus. I die cut the letters for the sentiment with patterned paper and adhered them to the top of the card. To go with the sentiment I created a little scene with a couple of witches and an angel. I Finished off the card by adding some stars and mounting it to a piece of patterned paper. I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Hello Everyone! Today I have a card to share with you featuring the Furever Friends Stamp Set from Sunny Studio Stamps. I think this set is so cute! It is super hard to find cute cat stamps so these are amazing!
I decided to make a simple and fun little scene by combining the Forever Friends set with the Birthday Smiles set. To create this card I first started with a strip of white card, this panel is one layer so I laid out the stamps how I wanted and proceeded to stamp and mask them until complete. I then colored the images using Copic markers. To finish the card I mounted it onto of some black card and then on top of some patterned paper.
I think this card is super fun and easy to make and would be a great Birthday card for any cat lover! I hope you like it, be sure to check out the Sunny Studios Blog this week for more inspiration using Furvever Friends! Thanks for stopping by!
Hello everyone. Today I have a card to share with you focusing on the Happy Harvest stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps ! I love making fall cards, the colors are so pretty! I think this turkey is so cute I had to use him for my card. To create this card I first got a piece of watercolor paper and inked it up using Tim Holtz Distress Inks -Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade for the sky. I then die-cut a little arch which would act as the grassy hill. I inked that up using Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive Distress Inks. I then stamped, colored and die cut the pumpkins, turkey and leaves.
I arranged the pieces where I wanted and stuck them down, leaving the turkey and a few of the leaves. I then cut an oval out of a piece of white card stock and laid that down over my scene. Then I stuck the turkey and the remaining leaves on the outside of the white border. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment on a little flag of patterned paper and added a border of the same patterned paper.
I hope you like it. I hope you will hop over to the Sunny Studio blog for more inspiration this week! Thanks for stopping by!
