Holiday Cards | justMEdigitalstamps

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you some of the new digital stamps from justMEdigitalstamps. Elena Roussakis is the designer, she is a super talented card maker and her stamps are just too cute! I think they are on the same cuteness scale as Lawn Fawn and that is saying something! I thought I would quickly share a couple of cards I made with these stamps.

I actually like the fact that they are digital and you can play around with sizing and placement etc. For the second card I even printed the stamp on masking paper so I could mask it off and ink up the background, so they are very versatile!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone! Today I have a card to share with you using the Harvest Happiness stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps!

Happy Thanksgiving Large

I decided to make a fairly simple card today to really make these two cute little owls stand out. To make this card I first die cut a circle out of a white square of card. On another piece of square card I marked out where the circle was when I placed it behind the die cut panel. This would be the area that would be peeking through. I stamped the owls where I wanted them and masked them off. I then masked off the area of the grass and colored the rest with distress inks – this would be the sky.

Happy Thanksgiving sneek peek I did the same again by masking off the sky and applying ink to the grassy hill. I then unpeeled all the masks and colored the owls with Copic Markers. I then stuck the colored panel to the back of the white piece with the die cut circle, And then adhered both of those to a card base with a piece of patterned paper. To finish off the card I made a little banner by die cutting the ends of a strip of card stock with the fish tail banner die. I then stamped the sentiment and heat embossed that. I added some green and yellow distress inks to the banner and adhered it to the card. That completes the card for today. Be sure to check the Sunny Studios blog this week to see what the other talented design team members create! I hope you liked it, thanks for stopping by!

Snowflake large

I decided to create a winter themed shaker card for this blog hop using the Snow Kissed stamp set from Sunny Studios. I looove this set so much, I think the images are super cute and so fun to color! To create this card I first die cut a circle out of white card. I then stamped this fun sentiment onto the bottom and heat embossed that with silver embossing powder. To create the shaker aspect of this card I used the fuse tool (this was my first time, and it was super easy!) I laid down the two fusables clear sheets and laid the circle die that I used to cut the circle over top. I proceeded to press the tool down around the outside of the die until I was almost all the way around. I then filled the little pocket with various sequins, some from Pretty Pink Posh and others from Simon Says Stamp. I then sealed up the pocket with the fuse tool.  Snowflake sneak peekI then stamped, colored and die cut the little penguin, And also die cut a little snowy hill out of white glitter paper. To assemble the card I put the white hill behind the window and stuck that in place, I then adhered the shaker pocket behind that using some liquid adhesive. I then stuck some white card behind that. The whole piece was then mounted onto a card base with some patterned paper on top. To finish the card, I placed the penguin at the bottom of the shaker panel and popped him up with some foam adhesive. Thanks snow much tag

As a little bonus I made a little gift tag to coordinate with my card, using a similar looking penguin from the Bundled Up stamp set. I hope you enjoyed the card and tag! Please continue to hop along to see what all the other talented designers have created! The next stop on the hop is Chitra Nair.

You Warm My Heart | Shaker Card

You warm my heart

I finally got around to purchasing a Fuse tool and this is one of the first few cards I have made with it. I made this card for the Lawnscaping Thinking Of You Challenge. I thought it would be fun to make a shaker using a heart die and to have these cute little bunnies holding it up! I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by!

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland

I made this card for the Lawnscaping Thinking of You Challenge.  To create this card I used a few products I have never used before. I have had this moose stamp for quite some time and have never gotten around to using it, I paired it with a new addition to my collection which is the Stitched Mountain die from My Favorite Things. I think this die is so fun, really good for creating winter scenes. This card has a lot of layered elements. To create this card I first decided on what the background layers would be. I die cut those and added watercolor using Distress inks. The two hill borders I left blank as those would be snowy hills. The grass in the foreground I colored with Copic markers. I then stamped the moose and her flower garland and colored them with Copic markers. To assemble the card I laid all the elements on top of each other and stuck them down. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment in silver embossing powder and added some flowers at the bottom. I hope you enjoyed the card for today! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Home is where the <3 is - Sunny Studio Stamps

Hi Everyone, today I am going to share a card with you using the Happy Home set from Sunny Studio Stamps. I think these houses are soon cute! I also love how this set makes it super easy to make a fun scene with the clouds, grass and all the other cute little details.

Happy Home LargeTo create this card I first stamped the house and the trees on a white piece of card. After I stamped them I masked them off with masking paper. I then stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder, I did this first because when I add the distress ink the embossing will resist it. I then masked off the area where the hill would end up and inked up the sky with Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Inks. I then removed that mask and masked over the sky that had just been inked. I applied Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Inks to that area to make the little grassy hill. I then colored the house and trees with Copic markers. After that I die cut an arch at the top of the card and mounted it onto a plain white card base.

Happy Home sneak peekAs a finishing touch I added some sequins to the trees to look like little berries or apples and added a little love heart sequin to the sentiment. I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by!
